"I’d rather have eloquent failure than boring success." Raphael DiLuzio | The Washington, DC metropolitan area has had a cold and snowy February. Not nearly as bad as New England, but enough that our normal routines have been interrupted – at least mine have. I love my run/walk/runs, even as painfully slow as they might be, but I am not willing to go out for them in sub-freezing temps. I have gotten together with friends much less than usual, and I don’t enjoy shopping enough, on a good day, to drag myself out unnecessarily in unpleasant weather. |

Art&Soul has a new venue to use!
Grace Baptist Church, Bowie, MD has agreed to let us use either their main campus and/or Jireh Place for Art&Soul workshops. The church has offered successful recovery/support groups for many years. Art&Soul will provide another avenue for individuals in the community to pursue their own emotional health. Many thanks to the pastors of Grace for their willingness to take the time to learn about Art&Soul and the art4healing® method. Art&Soul seeks to provide a safe place for people to explore emotional health through expressive art. The two new locations will open the schedule to more classes. Go to this link for a list of the recovery groups that Grace offers: http://gbcbowie.org/events/find-a-group Here is a link to maps to Grace's two campuses: http://gbcbowie.org/contact_us Keep watch here for dates and new locations. We had a great group participate in the November workshop. Though they would have characterized themselves as non-artists they produced amazing work. It was a privilege to facilitate the workshop.
